김남국 대통령실 국민디지털소통비서관이 4일 '현지 누나'의 기밀을 유출한 죄(?)로 사의를 표명했다. 

김남국 비서관은 지난 2일 문진석 더불어민주당 의원과 텔레그램 대화에서 민간단체 회장 자리 인사청탁을 받고  "훈식이형이랑 현지누나에게 추천할게요"라는 답을 보냈다. 국회 본회의장에서 문 의원의 휴대폰에서 이같은 대화 장면이 통신사인 뉴스핌 카메라에 포착됐다.

보도 직후 논란이 되자, 대통령실은 3일 공지를 통해 "부정확한 정보를 부적절하게 전달한 내부 직원에 대해 공직 기강 차원에서 엄중 경고 조치했음을 알린다"고 전했다.. 

그런 뒤 김 비서관이 사표를 제출한 것이다. 김 비서관이 언급했던, 막후에서 민간단체의 인사까지 영향력을 행사했을 김현지 부속실장이나 강훈식 비서실장은 그대로 자리를 지키고 있다. 김현지를 지키기 위해 김남국으로 꼬리 자르기를 한 셈이다.
