Kim Ou-joon’s nationwide tour concert—after he detonated what he called a “bombshell” allegation on his YouTube channel about a supposed presidential deal to cancel indictments —is set to begin at 5 p.m. today (March 14) in Daejeon.
Ticket prices are set at 119,000 won for VIP seats, 99,000 won for R seats, and 88,000 won for S seats.
According to a report by New Daily on the 12th, the reservation rate stood at 73 percent, and as of the 14th ticket sales had closed. The venue has a total of 9,138 seats.
At Kim Ou-joon’s talk concert last July, a number of figures from the ruling camp attended, including former president Moon Jae‑in, National Assembly Speaker Woo Won‑shik, Democratic Party leadership candidate Jung Cheong‑rae, prime minister nominee Kim Min‑seok, and presidential committee nominee Kim Kyung‑soo.
Kim Ou-joon’s influence stems largely from his impact on the Democratic Party of Korea. Pro-Lee Jae-myung “Gaeddal” supporters have made their stance clear, saying, “We will remember Democratic Party lawmakers who appear on the bearded man’s conspiracy-theory broadcasts,” signaling hostility toward party members who appear on Kim’s program.
Today’s concert in Daejeon could become a turning point. If the venue fails to fill its seats and no Democratic Party figures appear, Kim Ou-joon’s influence could collapse in an instant.
