Kim Moon-soo Speaks Out on the Suicide Note of Yangpyeong Official
“How many more people must this special counsel sacrifice for its ‘purge and revolution’?”

Former presidential candidate Kim Moon-soo has commented on the death of Jung Hee-cheol, the late head of Danwol-myeon in Yangpyeong County, saying, “I’ve seen many suicide notes, but I have never seen one as clear and detailed as his.”
Jung reportedly left behind a lengthy suicide note after being questioned by the special prosecutor’s team led by Min Joong-ki, which has been investigating allegations related to Kim Keon-hee. He took his own life the day after the interrogation.
On October 12, Kim wrote on social media, “He was born in Yangpyeong and served as a civil servant for 33 years, working for the residents of the county. It is heartbreaking that he died like this. His note vividly describes how he could no longer bear the coercive interrogation by the brutal special counsel of the Lee Jae-myung administration and left this world full of resentment.”
Quoting former U.S. President Donald Trump, Kim added, “How many more people must this special counsel sacrifice for its ‘purge and revolution’?”

“May Yangpyeong’s Danwol-myeon chief Jung Hee-cheol rest in peace.
He was born in Yangpyeong and worked as a public servant for 33 years for the residents of the county. It breaks my heart that he has passed away like this.
His suicide note vividly shows how he could not endure the coercive investigation by the brutal special counsel of the Lee Jae-myung administration and left the world in resentment.
I have seen many suicide notes, but never one as specific and clear as this.
Why do we need a special counsel when we already have the police, prosecutors, and the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials?
How many more people must this special counsel sacrifice for its ‘purge and revolution’?
The Lee Jae-myung administration must immediately dismantle this murderous special counsel.”
